About Helping Hands
Helping Hands – the leading provider of home care in the Ryedale area
The chances are that if you decide to use Helping Hands, the first person you will meet is Beverley our Registered manager. Beverley will visit you in your own home and help you devise your own care plan. This maybe just some shopping once a week or four visits a day for meal preparation and personal care, but you decide. Then Beverley will match you up with one of our experienced carers.
Beverley has twelve years of experience in the care industry and has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and over the years has worked with many elderly, dementia and end of life clients.
Putting the CARE back into domiciliary care
Helping Hands operates a person centred system of care so, YOU decide on how your care package is put together, YOU are the centre of all we do.
Our experienced team will guide you through all that is available to help you stay in your own home.
YOU decide on how we work together
YOU decide on what help you need
YOU decide how much or little you need
YOU decide when it takes place
Why choose Helping Hands Care?
As a family run business, we pride ourselves on our family values and are passionate about what we do. By continually asking “Is this good enough for MY mum” we make every effort to improve. These values run from the top to the bottom of our company.
All our Personal Home Carers (PHC) are directly employed by us and we never use agency staff. This means we can control the quality of care you will receive. Each PHC will have had passed through our rigorous training programme and have the right qualifications to meet your needs. The Registered Manager personally conducts regular supervisions on all staff so she is able to quickly identify if any extra training or support is required.
Outside normal office hours there is always a senior member of the team available to take calls from clients, as incidents don’t just happen between 9 and 5.
Helping Hands are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are an approved supplier of service to North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) Health & Adult Services. We are members of the Independent Care Group (ICG), Skills for Care and Citation approved for Health & Safety and Employment Law.
